New Page Added!

Another Page has been updated on the blog, the "Newcastle-Crawford" page.

New Pages Added

As some can tell, most of the pages are still void of photographs, however there are a few pages that do have photographs and pictures added to them.

  • 'Glenwood' is the first prototype specific page to be added.  It has all of my photos of the Glenwood rail yard in Glenwood, MN.
  • 'Archives' includes a list of photographs from my other blog, jjwtrains.blogspot.com.  That blog will be going under renovations and will soon have all the information associated with prototype railroads transferred to this site under a specific page.
  • 'Home' of course has a couple of posts, but this will be the page that grows the quickest with new information, history, and interesting facts.
I still have plenty of work to get done, and I hope that I can get most of it done by the end of the week.  So stay tuned, this blog will keep getting larger.

Welcome

Welcome to this new blog!  The amount of photos I have accumulated over the last few years has overgrown my older blog, jjwtrains.blogspot.com. So the purpose of this blog will be to archive and store all of my photos from railroads across North America.  It will also serve the purpose of storing my personal layouts from years past.
Unfortunately, college is not a place to do a lot of modeling, but on weekends information and ideas can still be posted.  So my goal is that by the end of summer 2013 I will have all of my old photos and information archived for everyone to see.  So what happens to my other blogs?  JJWTrains will serve the purpose of posting my latest ideas and techniques.  So for newer information, go to that blog.  This blog will be for past photos and memories.  Finally my third blog, Trackplanning Notebook, will serve the purpose of publishing my best designs and railroads that I've dream up.  A fourth blog, the one about my garden railroads, will be deleted and photos will be salvaged and posted on this blog under the title, "My Railroads".  I also have one other site, The Online Train Show.  onlinetrainshow.com is a resource of modeling information through the works of other modelers.  If you're looking for a good dose of inspiration, go to that website.

So stay tuned, this blog will get quite full in a short amount of time.  This will also be a perfect place for prototype information about various places, towns, and railroads.
